Ryan Shera joined the Washington College Shoremen in 2021 and led the program’s most successful run. The team finished top two in the conference three times, won a conference title, and reached the NCAA Sweet 16 (2021) and Final Four (2023). He earned Region V Coaching Staff of the Year (2021) and Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year (2023). He previously coached youth clubs in California, Nevada, and Maryland. His work with refugee players at Yalla Soccer Club was featured by ESPN and NPR. Shera holds a USSF A License and advanced coaching diplomas. He played at Fordham and Dickinson and earned his law degree from the University of San Diego.
